Day 1
Following our pick-up points this morning, we will move north towards the county of Londonderry. We will have a short comfort stop en-route followed by a lunch time stop at the Foyleside Centre where toilet and restaurant facilities are available. The city can also be easily reached from the shopping centre. Time then to continue our journey to the North East of Donegal, an isolated corner waiting to be explored. We can relax and enjoy the views from the comfort of our coach as we proceed through the County of Donegal to our hotel. We will be staying at the 3-Star Inishowen Gateway Hotel where our estimated time of arrival is 16:00 hrs. Time to settle in before our evening meal together.
Day 2
Depending on the weather today, we are hoping to have a scenic tour of part of the Inishowen Peninsula. It is famed as the ‘beginning or the end’ - of the 1600-mile coastal route ‘The Wild Atlantic Way’, which runs all the way down to the County of Cork. If the weather holds, we will see the Peninsula in its glory - rugged and wild, and lovely to view from the comfort of the nice warm coach.
Day 3
Today again our journey will depend on the weather because the narrow twisty roads in this region can be quite treacherous. Our plan is to travel to Letterkenny where there will be free time to explore the shops and internationally known stores, together with local arts and crafts.
Day 4
Now the cobwebs have all been blown away, and our batteries recharged it is time to head home. We will travel toward Belfast via the Glenshane Pass, having morning and lunchtime comfort stops as we journey.
Finally, it is time to say our fond farewells as we begin our drop-offs.
NB
Your driver will confirm/amend departure times as necessary for the duration of the tour.
