Isle of Wight & Osborne House

Day 1:

Following our pick-ups this morning we will proceed to Belfast for the 07:30hrs Stena Line crossing to Cairnryan. As we travel south, we will make a comfort stop at Gretna allowing free time to stretch our legs and time to avail of the restaurant facilities. We then move on joining the motorway for the final leg of the journey to the 4-star Mercure Hotel, Daventry for an overnight break where we will be accommodate with dinner, bed & breakfast. (Overnight bag recommended) Our estimated time of arrival is 18:30hrs.

Day 2:

We depart our hotel and continue our journey south. We travel to Portsmouth where we will join the short ferry crossing to Fishbourne. After our short crossing we finally arrive on Isle of Wight! Enjoy the scenery as we travel the short distance to our accommodation at the 4-star Bembridge Coast hotel. Here we can expect a warm welcome and a beautifully British break just a stone’s throw from the beach on the Isle of Wight’s tranquil eastern shore. Time to settle in and relax for the duration of our break.

Day 3:

Osborne House & Ryde
Today we'll depart from the hotel for a short excursion to Osborne House. (Admission included)
We can enjoy the magnificent setting as we stroll through, what was once the favourite home of Queen Victoria, and see “Albert’s Creation”. Taking things at our own pace today, we will find a guide located in each room of the house to provide information and interesting facts. A small restaurant is also available where you can relax and avail of refreshments. After Osborne House we move on to the seaside town of Ryde where we will have a little free time and a breath of sea air.

Day 4:

Portsmouth Harbour Cruise & Newport
Our excursion today will take us to West Cowes where we will join a pleasure boat trip. This trip will depart from West Cowes harbour to Portsmouth Harbour Naval Base where we will view warships past and present. We will then travel the short distance to Newport, the islands capital for free time to explore at our own pace.

Day 5:

Day at Leisure
An opportunity to enjoy the Warner Hotel’s daily activities or perhaps avail of the spa facilities available on site. These may require pre-booking and are payable locally. Take a dip in the pool, a stroll through the grounds, play a little tennis, snooker or simply relax and enjoy the indoor amenities. You may wish to head to the show lounge and be entertained by the Warner Show Team. You may also wish to join one of the Island Breezer tour buses, which will take you to other tourist sites you may have missed and long to visit.

Day 6:

Isle of Wight to Mercure Hotel Haydock
After a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell to the Isle of Wight and head back to Fishbourne for our short 10:00hrs ferry journey to the mainland. From here we will travel north as far as the 4-star Mercure Haydock Hotel for an overnight break with dinner, bed & breakfast. (Overnight bag recommended).

Day 7:

Homeward Bound
Today we depart from our hotel and travel swiftly toward Holyhead. We must check-in for the 15:15hrs ferry crossing to Dublin (3.5 hrs), but before boarding you will have the chance to avail of some ‘duty free’ shopping. From Dublin we travel North with a quick comfort stop and then, time to say our good-byes and begin our drop-offs.
