Day 1

Belfast to Bantry.
A warm welcome awaits our arrival at the Maritime Hotel, Bantry where we can look forward to a week of relaxation.

Day 2

Crookhaven, Mizan Head, Skibberean.
Today we will take a scenic drive. We will travel towards Crookhaven, then move on to the most south-westerly point of Ireland - Mizan Head where we will stop at the lighthouse and visitor centre. We will then travel to the lovely little town of Skibbereen, where we will make a lunchtime stop. After some leisurely time we will head back to our hotel where we can look forward to our evening meal.

Day 3

Beara Peninsula.
Today we will explore the quieter corner of Ireland known as the Beara Peninsula. It is a stunning peninsula and home to many gorgeous towns and villages. We will make a stop at the fishing port of Castletownbere where we will have time to explore and make use of the bars, restaurants and cafes. We will then move on towards the quiet little town of Glengarriff where we will have
free time at leisure. Here you can avail of an optional visit to the beautiful Garnish Island. It is the perfect place for picnics, and boasts beautiful walks, gardens, or a cafe for those wishing to relax and enjoy the views. Maureen O’Hara was one of Glengarriff’s most famous residents, and the island was part of the stunning landscape she adored. Today’s tour is subject to weather conditions. We may have to swap the days around so that we do not miss the best possible views.
