Our excursion today will take us to ‘The Living Museum of the North’ - Beamish Museum. This worldfamous open-air museum tells the story of life in North East England during the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian periods. Guests can enjoy unlimited rides on the beautifully restored trams and replica buses, explore a working farm, stroll through an authentic town street, discover the colliery, and even sample traditional fish and chips from a coal-fired chip shop! You will be reminded of the old pounds, shillings and pence, and the good old penny pick’n’mix in the sweet shop. What divine memories! The day continues with some free time to explore Newcastle upon Tyne.
Day 3:
Alnwick Castle
Today we will travel to Northumberland to visit the magnificent Alnwick Castle. Spend a couple of hours exploring the stunning castle grounds and being immersed in its rich history.
