An excellent location from where we will move away from the usual roads and head off the beaten track. We'll travel by rail followed by cruising amid the ripples of both Loch Katrine and then Loch Lomond. No matter where and how you travel you can look forward to a warm Scottish welcome.

Day 1:
Following our pick-ups this morning we will proceed to Belfast to check-in for the 07.30hrs Stena Line stops and a lunchtime stop en-route. Sit back and relax as we travel through the magnificent scenery along the edge of Loch Lomond to Drymen for an approximate arrival time of 16:30hrs. A warm welcome awaits us at the Winnock Hotel where we will be based for our tour.

Day 2:
Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Today we will take an excursion through the lovely scenery of the Trossachs towards Callander. We will travel to Loch Katrine pier where we change our mode of transport for a 10:30hrs - 2 hour cruise on the steam ship SS Sir Walter Scott. Sit back and enjoy this relaxed mode of transport as we gently cruise the glistening waters.
Day 3:
Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Today our excursion will take us to join a steam train journey from Bo’ness & Kinneil. There's nothing so nostalgic as the rumble of a mighty heritage steam locomotive to take us on this 10-mile return journey through woodlands, passed waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct with afternoon tea onboard. We will then move on towards Falkirk for a visit to the Falkirk Wheel, a tating boat lift which connects the Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. Our coach will meet us here for our return journey to Drymen.
Day 4:
Depart Hotel 09:00hrs
This morning we can enjoy a leisurely day on Loch Lomond for a 1-hour scenic cruise. Again we can sit back and enjoy this relaxing cruise, after which we will take a short leisurely drive and
Day 5:
All too soon it is time to say our ‘good-byes’. As we begin our journey home we will retrace our steps along the A77 towards Ayr where we will have a comfort break. Continuing south we will make a further stop, time permitting, in the traditional little town of Girvan. Refreshed and ready to move on, we will proceed to Cairnryan where we must check in for the 15:30hrs ferry home to Belfast.

Formerly a coaching Inn, it has been lovingly restored and tastefully extended to its present form. Situated on the pretty village green in the conservation village of Drymen, just 14 miles from Glasgow and 4 miles from Loch Lomond, this hotel is set amongst the beautiful Trossachs countryside.
