Westport Country Music Break

Day 1

Following our pick-ups this morning we will continue our journey moving on to the M1 towards the Dungannon Services where we will have a morning comfort break. From Dungannon we will continue our journey on to the ‘shopping capital of the north-west’ Sligo town where we will have a lunch time break. Free time. Refreshed and ready to move on, the next stage of our journey will take us through the County of Sligo and into County Mayo where we will proceed to the Westport Woods Hotel for an estimated time of arrival of 16:30 hrs. This will give us time to relax before our first evening meal together, which is then followed by an evening of country music entertainment.

Day 2

Today we depart for a visit to the busy town of Castlebar. If you love shopping, the centres and boutiques should provide the retail therapy you crave. Free Time. After our visit to Castlebar, we will head back towards Westport. We will take a short detour to the lovely Knockranny House Hotel where we will relax with a spot of afternoon tea (included in tour price). Then it is time to make our way back to our hotel to get ready for dinner and another evening of country music.

Day 3

We will take a scenic drive through the beautiful rugged countryside to visit Leenane. Nestled beneath the Maamturk mountains Leenane can be found at the head of Ireland's only Fjord and Killary Harbour. Killary is a pretty fishing village with gift shops and tea rooms. We will then move on and make a further stop at Kylemore Abbey. After time to look around and stretch our legs its time to head back to Westport.

Day 4

Today we will have a scenic drive along part of the Wild Atlantic Way and across the Michael Davitt Bridge to the mountainous island of Achill. Weather permitting there will be spectacular views as we travel along the sea cliffs and maybe a glimpse of the beautiful Keem Bay. After dinner tonight our evening will be completed with another session of country music.

Day 5

Today we have an opportunity to explore Westport Town at your own pace. Your driver will set times during the tour for your transport to and from the town. After dinner tonight we can enjoy another evening of country music entertainment.

Day 6

Time to begin our journey home. We’ll retrace our steps travelling home via Sligo for a short comfort stop before continuing our travels across the border towards Belleek and on to Enniskillen town. Here we will have a lunch time break with time to stretch our legs. We'll make a further comfort stop en-route and all too soon its time to say our good-byes as we approach our first drop off point.
