Pitlochry is a delightful Victorian town which nestles in the Perthshire Highlands amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe. It is well placed for exploring the hydro-electric dam and the salmon ladder, to name but a few. The views of hills, lochs, rivers and glens attract sightseers from all around the world. Many long to see the peaceful views of Loch Tummel, a site which Queen Victoria visited and fell in love with, way back in 1844.
